Fitness for longevity
Boost resilience with Hildegard’s teachings
Is there anything more relaxing than that feeling you get after exercising? When, having warmed down, you become intensely aware of your body’s every fibre? If you can imagine such a situation it will come as no surprise to you that one of Hildegard’s Six Golden Rules is about exercise and regeneration.

Exercise helps you:
Step back from everyday life
Replenish your vital energy reserves
Balance body, mind and soul
At the Pirchner Hof, we offer varied, therapy-orientated activity and exercise sessions with Wolfgang Peer, our professional coach. The indoor and outdoor vitality programme includes Aqua Fit, foot fitness, Smovey, back exercises, Yoga, snowshoeing, Nordic walking and mountain biking.
Exercise benefits your life by:
Making you more alert and attentive
Boosting resilience to help us cope with crises
Increasing vitality and strength
Enhancing body awareness
Making you more conscious of healthy nutrition
If you can also maintain a balanced sleep-wake rhythm – perhaps with the help of breathing and relaxation exercises or meditation – you can ensure rapid, long-lasting regeneration. While the muscles and spirit relax, your immune system runs at full speed, activating self-healing.

Hildegard's tip:
Treat yourself to a daily 10 to 20-minute siesta, and enjoy a hot alkaline salt footbath as well as a glass of Quenched Wine before going to sleep!
