On 23 December, the home choir comes and sings according to old custom the songs of the lodging search. This is called “Anklöpfeln”, in addition there is punch, mulled wine, freshly roasted chestnuts and atmospheric Christmas music.
On Christmas Eve, horn players or a harp will put us in the mood for Christmas and the Christmas story will be read for young and old, after which they will enjoy a delicious Christmas menu.
Christmas Day (25.12.) starts with a champagne breakfast and ends with the Christmas feast.

Visit farmers’ markets or the Rattenberg Advent in Austria’s smallest and probably cutest town. In medieval Rattenberg, Advent has been celebrated differently for 20 years! Without the usual Christmas market stalls, but with lots of candlelight, warming fireplaces and a special wine. You can visit the Rattenberg Advent on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. December 18 is your last opportunity to take part in this experience.
