Climbing holidays in Tyrol – from high ropes courses to via ferratas
If you like to get up in the air quickly, you’ll be at a height of 12 metres in no time at Sport Ossi’s high ropes course. At this height, you continue over numerous bridges and platforms until you have solid ground under your feet again after a ride on the “Flying Chicken”.
Via ferratas
A few kilometres as the crow flies from the Hotel Pirchnerhof is one of the most beautiful via ferratas in Tyrol at the Reintalersee in Kramsach. After a short approach from the car park, you reach the two routes with a height of approx. 250 running metres. With every metre that the via ferrata leads upwards, the view becomes more impressive. The view constantly falls back on the magnificent Reintalersee lake, which invites you to enjoy cooling off and swimming after the tour.
Equally impressive is the 5-summit via ferrata circuit in the central Rofan Mountains at Lake Achensee. The Rofan cable car can be reached in just 15 minutes by car. This via ferrata circuit is made up of ferrata passages and beautiful mountain meadows. It is suitable for everyone, because you can determine the length of the tour individually and either cover the entire 800 metres in altitude or only a partial passage.
